Privacy Policy — Top End Slots

Last updated: 16 September 2026

This page explains what information the Top End Slots app uses, who receives it, and the choices you have.

The short version

Who we are

Top End Slots is made and published by Panopt Alpha ("we", "us"). Our contact details are under Contact.

What the app is

Top End Slots is a free-to-play social slots game. You can buy virtual coins with real money through Google Play. Coins have no monetary value. They cannot be transferred, cashed out or exchanged for money or prizes. There are no cash prizes of any kind.

What the app never asks for

The app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos. You do not create an account or sign in.

The app has no permission to use your phone's GPS or precise location. However, Unity's services work out your approximate region from your IP address and from your phone's language and region settings.

What is collected, and who receives it

The game has no servers of its own. Information that leaves your phone goes to Unity, and payments go to Google, as set out below.

1. Usage data (Unity Analytics)

While Usage Data is on, the game sends Unity information about how it is used, so we can fix problems and improve the game. This includes:

This data is linked to an ID created for this install of the game and to a scrambled form of your phone's device ID. The scrambled device ID is not random: it stays the same for this game on this phone, even if you uninstall and reinstall the game, and usually changes only if the phone is factory reset. The data is not linked to your name or email address. We do not attach your advertising ID to it.

2. Purchase records (Unity In-App Purchasing)

Whenever you tap to buy a coin pack, whether or not the purchase goes through, Unity's purchasing service sends Unity a purchase record. It includes the product with its store name and description, the price and currency, the Google Play transaction ID and purchase details, the install ID, a session ID, when the game was installed, the app version, whether Usage Data is on, and device information (phone model, Android version, language and region settings, storage size and when the phone was last started). This is sent whether Usage Data is on or off.

Unity's documentation for this purchasing service also lists an email address as information it may process briefly while handling a purchase, without storing it, and lists what Unity calls "personal identifiers". The game itself never asks for or sees your email address.

3. Crash and performance reports (Unity)

When the game crashes or hits an error, a report goes to Unity. It includes the error, where in the game it happened, the last few lines of the game's internal log, device and app version details, and the install ID.

Unity's engine also sends Unity crash logs, diagnostic and performance information, and an ID unique to this install. Unity says this engine service has no consent or opt-out option.

These reports are sent whether Usage Data is on or off.

4. Rewarded video ads (Unity Ads)

Ads are served by Unity Ads. When Unity Ads starts (see Your advertising ID), it receives:

This data is linked to your advertising ID. Unity uses it to show and measure ads, for analytics, to prevent fraud, and for advertising, including personalised ads. Unity Ads also runs a component called the ironSource Ad Quality SDK (ironSource is a Unity company) as part of its ad service, and gives it a user ID. Unity has not published a separate description of what that component collects.

This happens whether Usage Data is on or off.

5. Payments (Google Play)

Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's own terms. We never receive or store your card or payment details.

Kept on your phone, not sent to Unity

How information is shared

We do not use usage data for advertising ourselves. We share data with Unity as described on this page, including for ads.

Where it is stored: information sent to Unity may be stored and processed outside Australia and New Zealand. Unity says this can be in any country where it has facilities or uses service providers, including the United States, and Israel, where ironSource is based.

Read Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.

The Usage Data setting

Usage Data is on by default. The game does not ask you about it when you first open it. Because it is on from the first launch, usage data from your first session is normally sent to Unity before you have had a chance to reach Settings.

To turn it off: open the menu, tap Settings, then tap Usage Data so it shows OFF. The game plays the same either way.

Turning it off stops: the usage data described in section 1, from that point on. Events already waiting to be sent at that moment may still upload.

Turning it off does not stop:

Turning it off does not delete usage data already sent. To ask Unity to delete that, use Delete Usage Data (see Deleting data and your choices).

Your advertising ID

Unity Ads does not start when you open the game. It starts, and first receives your advertising ID, the first time you reach a screen that can offer an ad: the daily reward (after you tap to collect it), the out-of-coins screen, the missions panel when an easier mission can be offered, or a big win of the kind that can offer to double up. It starts even if no ad offer appears that time, and even if you choose not to watch. For most players, this happens in the first session, when they collect the daily reward.

To reset or delete your advertising ID: open your phone's Settings and look under Privacy, then Ads. The exact menu names can differ between phones. On older Android versions you can instead turn on Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Inside an ad: Unity says you can tap the Unity Data Privacy icon while an ad is showing to opt out of certain personalised ads. Unity also says that, depending on how the app is set up, the icon may let you see the data Unity Ads has collected about your device in this app, opt out of further collection, and request deletion of that data. This is Unity's process, not ours. It covers data collected through Unity's ads, and is not a way to delete the usage data, purchase records or crash reports described above. For usage data, see Deleting data and your choices.

About the ads

Saving and backup

Your coins, progress and settings (including your Usage Data choice and the install ID) are kept on your phone. The game has no account or cloud save of its own.

If backup is turned on for your phone, Android may copy this saved data to a private backup in your Google account. Android may restore it when the game is installed again, or when you set up a new phone from the same Google account. That can bring back your progress and the same install ID. Backup is a Google service, controlled in your phone's backup settings. Android backs up at most about once a day, so a backup may not include your latest progress or purchases.

Because the game has no cloud save, if there is no backup or it is not restored, uninstalling the game or changing phones loses your coins and progress, including coins you bought.

Separately, the scrambled device ID described in section 1 stays the same when the game is reinstalled on the same phone, even with backup off, so new usage data can be linked to earlier records.

Security

Unity says its analytics, purchasing, diagnostics and ads services encrypt information in transit. Payments are handled by Google Play.

How long data is kept

Deleting data and your choices

Deleting usage data

Open the menu, tap Settings, tap Delete Usage Data, then tap it again within five seconds to confirm. The game then:

Usage data already waiting to be sent at that moment may be sent just before the request.

If the game cannot reach Unity, for example because your phone is offline, it keeps the request and tries again from time to time while the game is open, and each time you start it, until Unity's service accepts it. Until then the button shows Delete Requested, and Usage Data cannot be turned back on, because that would cancel the request. Once Unity's service has accepted it, the button shows Delete Request Sent. The game is not told when Unity has finished deleting. If you uninstall the game before the request has been sent, the request can be lost.

If you turn Usage Data back on later, the game starts sending usage data again, linked to the same install ID.

Deleting usage data does not delete:

Access, correction and complaints

You can email us (see Contact) to ask what information about you we can access, or to ask for it to be corrected. The information described on this page is held by Unity and linked to IDs the game does not show you, so we usually cannot find a particular player's records. You can ask Unity to delete your usage data yourself, from Settings (see Deleting data and your choices). For information Unity is responsible for, you can also contact Unity using the details in its privacy policy.

If you have a privacy complaint, please contact us first. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you are in Australia, or to the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) if you are in New Zealand.

Adults only

This app is for adults (18+) only. The first time you open the game, before anything else, it asks whether you are 18 or older. It asks on every launch until you answer. If you answer that you are under 18, the game will not let you play on that phone. If you answer that you are 18 or older, it will not ask again unless we change the question.

What is kept: only your answer, which version of the question you answered, and the date and time you answered. These are kept in the game's saved data on your phone, which Android backup may copy (see Saving and backup). The game does not ask for your date of birth or any ID, and it does not send your answer to us or to Unity.

Before you answer: the game does not send usage data, start Unity Ads, connect to Google Play for purchases, or schedule reminders. If you answer that you are 18 or older, usage data for that session is then sent as described above, from when you opened the game. If you answer that you are under 18, none of these ever start on that phone. Crash and performance reports (section 3) can still be sent at any time, because Unity's engine sends them on its own.

If you chose "I am under 18" by mistake, email us (see Contact).
